What is Pilates?

Pilates is all about mental and physical harmony. The realization of each person’s capabilities and the correction of imbalances and weaknesses.

Pilates teaches you to breathe, focus and regain control of how your body moves and feels.

To some extend it resembles the servicing of our cars. The same way our cars or other home appliances need servicing to remain in good working conditions our bodies need movement and in this case Pilates to remain functioning. So, whatever we do with our bodies in our daily lives, Pilates can bring us back together because it repairs misalignment.

The emphases are on restoring the body to true balance. With this method not only the body is rejuvenated, but the mental and spiritual refreshment is beyond calculation.
